NASSAU, BAHAMAS — Island Tribe Collective is proud to announce the release of its highly anticipated new single, “In My Reach,” featuring internationally acclaimed gospel artist Jonathan Nelson alongside Caribbean gospel ambassador Sherwin Gardner and an all-star lineup of worship leaders representing the Caribbean’s finest voices.
Set for release on July 3, 2026, “In My Reach” is more than a song—it is a declaration of faith, unity, collaboration, and possibility for a new generation of Caribbean worship leaders and creatives. For many throughout the Caribbean, Jonathan Nelson is no stranger. His timeless anthem “I Believe (Island Medley)” has echoed through churches, conferences, youth gatherings, and worship experiences for years, becoming one of the most beloved worship songs across the region. Now, for the first time, Nelson joins forces with Island Tribe Collective, a movement dedicated to uniting Caribbean worship leaders, musicians, and creatives under one vision.
The collaboration also connects Nelson with Sherwin Gardner, whose global hit “Find Me Here (Blessings Find Me)” generated billions of views across social media and more than 50 million streams worldwide, introducing a new generation to Caribbean gospel music and helping position the region on the global faith music map. Joining Nelson and Gardner on the record are some of the Caribbean’s most respected worship leaders, including Kevin Downswell, Alicia Taylor, Trecian Smith-Bryant, Alyssa Joseph, Marc Isaacs, John Yarde, Jaicko Lawrence, and Colyn Christopher, representing Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados, and The Bahamas in a truly regional collaboration.

What makes this moment especially significant is that many of these artists grew up leading worship with Jonathan Nelson’s songs in their local churches. Today, they stand beside him as collaborators, proving that geography is no limitation when purpose, preparation, and faith come together. The song carries an even deeper message. For many Caribbean creatives, opportunities at the highest levels can often seem distant. Limited resources, smaller markets, and geographic isolation have caused many to wonder if global impact is truly possible from the islands. “In My Reach” challenges that mindset and reminds listeners that God can open doors far beyond what they can imagine.
The song serves as a soundtrack for dreamers, believers, worship leaders, musicians, entrepreneurs, and anyone who has ever wondered if their God-given vision could become reality.Since its launch, Island Tribe Collective has become a living example of what is possible when Caribbean creatives unite. In a remarkably short period of time, the collective has built an audience of more than 12,000 Spotify followers, generated over 30,000 Spotify streams before releasing its first major collaborative project, secured editorial playlist support and international industry partnerships, and connected artists from Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados, The Bahamas, and beyond under one unified vision. Yet beyond the numbers, the greatest achievement has been the impact.
Across churches, conferences, airports, schools, and social media platforms throughout the Caribbean and the diaspora, testimonies continue to emerge from people encouraged, strengthened, and inspired by the movement. Island Tribe Collective is not merely creating songs—it is creating opportunities, building bridges, and establishing pathways for Caribbean artists to reach audiences far beyond their shores. “This collaboration is a reminder that what you ask, think, or imagine is truly within your reach,” says Sherwin Gardner. “Sometimes living on an island can make opportunities feel distant, but Island Tribe Collective exists to prove that God can take a vision from a small room and place it on a global stage.”
With the release of “In My Reach,” the collective hopes to inspire an entire generation of Caribbean creatives to dream bigger, collaborate more deeply, and believe that God can exceed every limitation they may perceive.
