Gospel singer-songwriter and producer Terran “T-RAN” Gilbert has been named the official Ambassador of Music & Entertainment for the State of Tennessee a historic recognition awarded by the Tennessee House of Representatives on March 23, 2026.
The Chattanooga native, known for blending hip-hop and soul-gospel, was honored for his significant impact on the music industry and Tennessee’s culture. The official state resolution places T-RAN alongside legendary names like Dolly Parton and Garth Brooks who have held similar honorary titles from the state.
