Hartford, CT — 2025 — Minister, musician, and visionary storyteller Malcolm has released his boldest project yet: Down is Up — a genre-bending gospel experience that merges powerful testimony, soulful sonics, and faith-filled storytelling.

More than an EP, Down is Up is the soundtrack to Malcolm’s personal redemption arc — from heartbreak, spiritual warfare, and doubt to renewed purpose and a deeper walk with God. Echoing the story of Joseph, this project is a modern psalm of perseverance. With standouts like the vibrant afrogospel single “OLÉ” and the heartfelt  “Remind me,” Malcolm speaks directly to a generation seeking something real — hope.

The Down is Up launch was celebrated with an exclusive industry listening session attended by top media representatives, tastemakers, and creators and artists from various genres. The event highlighted Malcolm’s powerful message, immersive visuals, and commitment to family, faith, and authenticity. The critics rated the album a collective 9.5/10 stating that the album is a masterpiece that evokes emotions and substance.

The project is available on all platforms now.
