November 20, 2024 (Nashville, TN) — Today, Jovonta Patton – #1 Billboard chart topping artist and 39th Stellar Award Gospel Awards’ New Artist of the Year, releases his first-ever Christmas EP, A Cali Christmas, under his new partnership with Integrated Music Rights, a part of the Integrity Music family.
A Cali Christmas, was recorded live with production by Grammy Award-winning producer Phil Cornish, and production support from Julian Roberts. The EP is dedicated to Patton’s youngest daughter, Cali, who was born on Christmas Day in 2019 and is named after the state of California. The EP features beloved Christmas classics along with two brand-new originals, “Christmas is Here” and “A King is Born,” both penned by Patton. Patton makes the project a family affair by including features with his daughters Ella, Zoey, and Cali, on a family version of “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.” Gospel music hitmakers, Vincent Tharpe & Kenosis also make an appearance.
“This album is designed for you to worship, shop, cook, open gifts, and sing with your family for years to come. I aimed for a classic, mature approach that captures a well-rounded Christmas experience, embodying so many elements of the season,” shares Jovonta Patton.
